On September 21, 2024 (Ashoj 5, 2081), Periwinkle Service proudly executed Heifer International Nepal’s “Passing on the Gift” ceremony in Kamalamai Municipality, Sindhuli, marking 80 years of transformative community empowerment. The event symbolized hope, partnership, and progress for Nepal’s farmers, particularly women farmers and the dairy sector. Eleven families were gifted first-born Holstein calves, generously passed on by families previously supported through the Korean government’s initiatives. The ceremony was graced by distinguished guests, including Hon. Prakash Shrestha, Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development (Bagmati Province), and Dr. Rajendra Prasad Mishra, Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development.
