The Ministry of Commerce, Industry & Supplies & World Intellectual Property Organization(WIPO) successfully jointly organized an event on “Intellectual Property for Producers of Textile Handicraft Products in Nepal” managed by Periwinkle Service on April 9 at Hotel Yak & Yeti, Durbarmarg. The event welcomed 100 attendees, including beneficiaries from various textile companies who also showcased their specialized products. Chief Guest Krishna Bahadur Raut and other distinguished guests graced the occasion. A panel discussion explored opportunities in Nepal’s textile industry through modernization and IP. The event featured speakers Rajeshwar Gyawali, Rajendra Singh, Revita Shrestha and Anuja Shrestha which was moderated by Mr. Samar Verma, concluding with an engaging Q&A session.
